This student was very critical of her work throughout the project, and her decision to do a horse mask reflects her own love of that animal – maybe that is what made it hard to replicate her IDEA of a horse into the abstract and fun caricature. However, when she began to relax with the materials, I think she enjoyed it. As always, she dug in and worked diligently even so.
